Caracalla's Bath

Caracalla’s baths are the biggest complex of baths and one of the best preserved. 

What are the Roman baths? Much more than just a pool, it was a complex of buildings to let the people enjoy the day doing sports, reading, swimming, taking care of their body and why not eat, drink wine and relax with massages and gossip. 

The different rooms were outstanding, decorated with the most beautiful marbles and mosaics, statues and plaster decorations, a luxury spa for all the Roman citizens: the rich and the poor, the slaves and the women too.
