Mosaic Tour: Artisans at Work

The Mosaic Art is made by artisans that created masterpieces using little tiny pieces of stones and gold. They learn this difficult technique in specialized workshops where they study with passion and devotion how to decorate churches, altars, candlestick.

The are so talenty that I think it's absolutely worth dedicating our time to admire few of their works in some of the oldest churches of Rome: Santa Maria Maggione, Santa Pudenziana, Santa Prassede and the first church built in Rome, San Giovanni in Laterano.
