Ostia: the Old Roman Harbour

There's nothing more interesting than a city that was a port.

In the port of Ostia people come from all over the Mediterranean sea and they share art and craft as well as food and culture.

They needed many services after they navigated for a long time so the Ostia offered them all the comfort they needed: thermal bath (spa), restaurants, temples, laundries, bakeries and public spaces.

Ostia is really a little jewel very close to Rome, still very well preserved and visiting this archeological site will make you understand several different aspects of the ancient Roman civilization.

I am sure you will love it.
