Castel Sant'Angelo

This stunning monument has a very special history: it was a mausoleum and it has been transformed into a castle with marvelously decorated rooms for the Popes and horrible prisons for their enemies. 

We will walk all over to discover the ancient part, secret passages, shortcuts, luxury rooms, treasures, libraries and defensive towers. I have so many stories to share with you: I will tell you about important prisoners, gossip, stories of battles and funny stories too. 

The view from the top level is breathtaking, one of the best way to admire the Cupola designed by Michelangelo, it will be our award.
