Villa Torlonia e la Casetta delle Civette (the House of Owls)

Villa Torlonia is an early 19th century house, built for a rich banking family. 

Let me show you their eclectic idea of fancy and their love for art collection. You will be impressed by the decorations of the house as much as you will love artworks, furniture, frescos and statues. 

Even more interesting is the extravagant House of the Owls, residence of Prince Giovanni Torlonia the Younger. He really had a different taste in art and his secluded place seems to be a little north europe middle ages district. Magic symbols, esoteric decorations and stain glasses are just a few elements of his private residence.
